{Doodle Calm Thoughts:11/21} I'm Doodled Inspired!!

{I've made a commitment to put ME (yes, ME!!) first on my "to-do" list so I can calm my thoughts while tapping into my creativity for the next 21 days. Read why I'm doing this here.  And if you wanna join me in the calming fun, come on over to my Facebook page and share what's happening for you and post pictures of your doodles, too!}Day 11: I'm Doodled Inspired!!!

OK!  First off, this one isn't my original, but O.M.G. it was SO.MUCH.FUN!!! (I just finished it a few minutes ago and I'm just filled with so much relaxing, fun - I can't stop smiling!!).

While re-watching my daughter's videos on YouTube last night from my post yesterday, I noticed some videos that were about doodling.

I clicked on a few, but it was this one that inspired me (there's some nice, relaxing classical music on it, too!).

After watching it,

I was SO curious to see how it turned out in the end.

I thought it was SO pretty so I was bummed that I wasn't going to get to see the entire doodle completed.

Because I've been a little bit of doodle funk lately, meaning, I wasn't really having any new and inspired ideas on what to doodle, I couldn't stop thinking about this video.

So when my time came to doodle today, I watched the video again for inspiration on getting my right brain juices flowing (sometimes it's hard to connect with my right-brain when I've been consumed in left-brain thought and activity for way too long) and because I felt so drawn to try this doodle out!!

Then, to my surprise, I found that there was another video with the completion. HOOORAY!!

WOW!!

And the woman who drew this says she's not an artist or a drawer.

Um, did you look at mine? Yeah, she could totally sell her work!! :)

What I love most about her work is how it compliments what I doodle to help me relax.  And, guess what?? She says she doodles to relax, too!  OH YEAH! Doodlers (to relax) unite! :)

I was so inspired by her curly lines and flowers (something I actually LOVE to doodle and always have since I can remember).   In my opinion, it truly is a very happy and calming doodle.

Using her doodle as a guide, has inspired to check out more Henna drawings.  I'm in absolute LOVE!

My right-brain was definitely 'worked out' today (when I finally stopped the video, I could see that some of my right-brain flair started to come out - so that was pretty cool!).

When I get more time, I'm gonna keep playing with this one.  Gonna add in color, because I'm more of a color doodler and not really a big fan of just black doodles, even though this woman's doodle is SO, SO beautiful in one solid color!!

So if you ever feel like you don't know what to doodle, or you're in a doodle funk like me, search around and find some inspiration.  Just be sure to give the person credit if it's their original work.  Link with love!! :):)

So...until next time...

{life IS colorful}
