{Photo of the Day} Love The View

{I've started a, Photo of the Day, series here on my blog.  I'm doing this to keep my passion for photography alive, as well as keeping myself challenged (which can be hard with mommy duties constantly call my name) to continue learning my photography skills.  By doing this, I'll stay connected to the beauty of the world that surrounds me on a daily basis...the #1 reason why I love pursing my passion for photography.  Wanna join me?}

I've lived many places thanks to D's job in the Coast Guard, and I have to say, living right outside of New Orleans hasn't been one of my favorites. If I didn't have this little getaway right by my house, I'm not sure what I'd do.

I've learned that I'm definitely a beach girl - guess it makes sense since I grew up in West Palm Beach my entire life - I'm truly a Floridian.

Every time I drive this, it always reminds of driving in the Keys because water surrounds both sides of the road.   This area is very populated with fishermen.  And, I've even learned what shrimp boats look like...pretty cool.

So when it's sunny out, C, Rusty and I hop in the car for a little joy ride.  It always makes me smile.  :)

If you look at the bottom left hand corner, they were actually filming a movie in that area for about 2 months.  I'd drive by trying to look for actors/actresses...never had any luck.  But I'd see the camera crew and the catering tent each time.  So that was cool.  :)

(And if it wasn't foggy out by the water, downtown NOLA would have been visible)

Until next time...
