{Photo of the Day} Paper Pom Poms

{I'm starting a, Photo of the Day, series here on my blog.  I'm doing this to keep my passion for photography alive, as well as keeping myself challenged (which can be hard with mommy duties constantly call my name) to continue learning my photography skills.  By doing this, I'll stay connected to the beauty of the world that surrounds me on a daily basis...the #1 reason why I love pursing my passion for photography.  Wanna join me?}

When I think about where I want my photography to go, I always think of the advice from wedding photographer, Jasmine Star, about having three words that describe what you want to entail in your photos.  I've finally come to a decision, a decision I feel REALLY GOOD about, when it comes to my words.  

I want to create bright, colorful and FUN photos.

So that's my plan...to create bright, colorful and fun photos.  So today, while playing with my daughter in her room, I felt pulled to take a photo of the FUN, COLORFUL and BRIGHT pom poms that hang in the corner of her room.

I made them for her 2nd birthday last August, and I just couldn't throw them out or put them away, so we hung them in her room.

They make me smile every time I go in.  And, I think they make C smile, too! :)
