Love Drunk

I was driving the kiddos around town, listening to music, and I just happened to hear 'love drunk' in the lyrics. 

I can't for the life of me remember exactly what song it is, but as soon as I heard it was like, "Oooooo, yeah...I wanna doodle that!"

Because, yeah, there's nothing better than being drunk on love and...I feel like the more I 'adult' the more I can feel disconnected from that love drunk feeling. 

And, honestly, right now, all the doom and gloom that seems to be happening on a daily basis around the world, isn't helping at all. 

So, yeah, I wanna get 'love drunk'!! 

Naturally, of course! ;) 

So for me, creating this will help me remember just how important it is these days to stay connected to the FEELING of being SO drunk on love. 

When all I can think of is how much I love life and everyone and everything that surrounds me that I find myself daydreaming about how awesome it feels and it's the ONLY thing I can focus on. 

Like when I first fell in love with my husband. All I could think about was him and I was filled with happy tingles and giddy excitement. 

Or when I held both my kiddos for the first time after I birthed them.

Love is pretty freakin' awesome! 

So, yeah, I'd much rather focus on the feeling of being drunk in love than all the doom and gloom the media loves to focus on every second of the day. 

Life really is better that way, don'tcha think!?  OH YEAH!!
