{Photo of the Day} Island Flower ?

{I've started a, Photo of the Day, series here on my blog.  I'm doing this to keep my passion for photography alive, as well as keeping myself challenged (which can be hard with mommy duties constantly call my name) to continue learning my photography skills.  By doing this, I'll stay connected to the beauty of the world that surrounds me on a daily basis...the #1 reason why I love pursing my passion for photography.  Wanna join me?}

I pulled up to my house today and I noticed that these flowers were still around and in full bloom.  I couldn't believe it because when I went out last Saturday to take a picture of them, they were gone.  I mean...literally GONE.  It looked as if they had fallen off the stem.

So, yes, I was thrilled to have seen them out and vibrant as ever.  

I have no idea what kind of flower it is, but I sure do love the island feel they give me.

Aren't they just beautiful, but yet, so simple?  LOVE! :)
