{Photo of the Day} Pretty Pink Flower ~ Part 4

{I've started a, Photo of the Day, series here on my blog.  I'm doing this to keep my passion for photography alive, as well as keeping myself challenged (which can be hard with mommy duties constantly call my name) to continue learning my photography skills.  By doing this, I'll stay connected to the beauty of the world that surrounds me on a daily basis...the #1 reason why I love pursing my passion for photography.  Wanna join me?}

So, while I was standing in my backyard taking pictures of this, this and this, the entire time I could hear buzzing all around me.   I thought the bee's were around for the pink flowers I was snapping, but I was wrong.

The bush behind me was FILLED with bumble bee's.  I walked over and just watched (even though I was scared of them).

It was pretty amazing.  What I thought was the neatest of all was how the bee's formed the pollen into a ball and then would just fly to flower to flower while holding on to the pollen ball.

If you look at the pic below, you can actually see the pollen ball.

I didn't stick around for too long because one of the bee's flew right toward me and I basically ran away, but I loved being able to stand there and watch for a few minutes.  And, I was able to see something I never really knew before.

Pretty cool, huh!

I think so! :)

So I hope you enjoyed my little pretty pink flower photo a day series. I had no idea all of this would come about when I stepped in my back yard last Saturday afternoon. :)

Until next time...
